3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge: Day 1

This is my second tag for the quotes challenge. Thank you Keira for the tag. Seriously, go check out her site! Keira is awesome!

The Way It Works

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote for three consecutive days however long it takes (I am using The Orang-utan Librarian’s altered rules for this xD)
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day.

I am not going to have any theme. I will just post a quote that I come across and enjoy.

“The best moments in reading are when you come across something – a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things – which you had thought special and particular to you. Now here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out and taken yours.”

-Alan Bennett, The History Boys

  1. Aww thanks Jackie! Love the quote, it speaks to all us readers out there! It’s also nice when you see a thought you totally understand, but would never possibly think; human nature is truly amazing.
