In case anyone needs a reminder or is new to the Bookmark Chronicles, here are the rules: Every Monday [Rae] will post a This or That Challenge where we will choose between two characters or scenarios. On Friday we will see which scenario/character wins.

A single character’s perspective
For the most part the majority of the books I read are generally in one point of view, I think the main exception would be the massive, epic fantasy novels, which often have so many characters it’s not possible to have only one POV.
Despite the majority of books being in single POV, and the fact that having too many POV’s can harm a story if not done right, I definitely prefer stories with multiple POVs. Especially if there are two main characters. I want to get all sides of the story, and occasionally I feel like I’m missing what is going through the other persons mind.
I also get the chance of liking more than one character in multiple perspectives. With one POV you are only in the mind of that one person, so you feel their emotions, have their thoughts, their take on what is going on. You don’t really get to grow with the story. You are limited to the main characters growth- everything else is really just a slightly educated guess.
So I am choosing multiple perspectives as my preferred reading style!
