Synopsis (From Goodreads)

At Miss Qiunzilla Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s camp for hard-core lady-types, things are not what they seem. Three-eyed foxes. Secret caves. Anagrams. Luckily, Jo, April, Mal, Molly, and Ripley are five rad, butt-kicking best pals determined to have an awesome summer together… And they’re not gonna let a magical quest or an array of supernatural critters get in their way! The mystery keeps getting bigger, and it all begins here.

My Review

First we are dropped literally into the beginning of a hunt for a bear woman (but we don’t know that at first) and then they are all of a sudden fighting three eyed wolfs!?! We don’t even get the advantage of knowing where any of this shit is coming from by the end!! In fact the creatures and the bear woman aren’t even mentioned again!

*Sigh* Then every chapter has the beginning of two paragraphs, from what I assume if the camp handbook, but it cuts off mid-sentence, AND IT DOESN’T PICK UP ANYWHERE ELSE! I seriously spent 5 minutes searching for the rest of the paragraphs, afraid that maybe I just wasn’t understanding…but NO, it just cuts off… Needless to say, I was very annoyed by that.

Although I am a big fan of kickass woman with tons of girl power, this was just a little too childish for my tastes, it was pretty adorable though.

2 Stars unfortunately.
Happy Reading
