WWW Wednesday- Nov 25

Blogger Note

I am feeling awfully blah today :(. I can also feel a reading slump coming on *sigh*. I haven’t been reading much, so this won’t be a lot different from last week’s WWW Wednesday post. I should be reading however, I am spending my well-deserved day off (I literally have nothing to do today YAY!) re-watching the Harry Potter series instead.

Eeeek! This post is beginning to sound whiny, I must move on…

Of course the WWW Wednesday meme is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words

What Have I finished Reading?

I DNFed The Urban Boys by K.N. Smith; I just couldn’t handle the writing style. I finished reading two audio books; Fairest by Marissa Meyer,5 stars, and Doll Bones by Holly Black, 4 stars.

What Am I Currently Reading?

Audio Books

161607979361589

The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith I am seriously loving this novel. It reminds me of a harder and grittier Richard Jury novel.

I have been dying to read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern for a long time! I’m hoping this will break my reading slump.

E-Books

The Sand Prince by Kim Alexander is still interesting for the most part but I can’t help but feel exhausted by the sheer length of this book.

Death Do Us Part by JG Faherty is another Netgalley that I need to read.

Physical Books

I am tempted to DNF Loving Day mostly because I just can’t seem to pick it back up. I will try not to however.

American Gods is really weird, and if you have read this books- yes I am talking about the hooker that eats a man with her lady parts-. if you haven’t read it…sorry for the spoiler! Anyway, this books is setting up to be really good.

What will I be reading in the future?

I am really excited to read The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman, which I received for First To Read in exchange for an honest review. I was able to read the first two chapters from Netgalley and I really liked it!

And of course I am still getting to my next TBR jar read The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen.

  1. I’ve been wanting to read the Night Circus for a while now I just love how the story sound from reading the back of the book. I actually havent read American Gods yet, its on the list but I feel so WTF about that hooker part. I had to stop and reread like thinking “Am I reading this right? WTF?” I am kind of curious about it now.

      1. Omg that is fantastic. Sadly I haven’t read enough Gaiman, I’ve only read Stardust, I own the Graveyard Book and the Ocean at the End of the Lane, along with Good Omens that he did with Terry Prachett. Let me know what you think of the night circus and of the audiobook I’m curious about it
